Public advisory – hosepipe ban areas.
People living in the hosepipe ban areas are advised to save rainwater by placing their butts under a rainwater spout during any rainfall. Whilst this is an uncomfortable position to maintain it will do wonders for your sprouts.
The public is warned that a fine mesh filter should be placed over the end of the spout. This is to prevent the accidental penetration of incy-wincy spiders into the butt. At least one old lady was found to have a spider inside her.
Given suitable precautions it is not dangerous and can be fun for the family with members taking turns to offer up their butts when another's butt is full.
Water from a butt should be boiled before it is used for drinking, not just from strangers' butts, even from your own.
Remember, the bigger the butt the better.
