Earlier reports that Rebekah Brooks has been arrested have now been corrected after the situation has been clarified. It appears that following the return of her Police Force loan horse, Mrs. Brooks has been trying to organize a replacement at public expense. Whilst she visited Oxford Police Station to check on availability, her husband and close friend of David Cameron, was visiting a Buckinghamshire Police station to check on what they had available. A spokesperson for the Brooks family pointed out that clearly their chances of finding something suitable were greater is they split their efforts across different stations.
It would appear that the family is in need of at least one additional horse for an expected visit from David Cameron, a close friend of Mr Charlie Brooks from their school days together at Eton. The Brook spokesperson explained that “David loves to ride and it is expected that Charlie will provide him with a horse when he pops-round for visits. Horses are expensive things and, given that the Prime Minister is a public office, then we expect the public to pay for horses he uses.”
Meanwhile, Police are searching the couple’s home to check for evidence of other horses.
