Reacting to news that ITV's annual celebration of borderline mental illness "Britain's Got Talent" will be aired at the same time as the BBC's new flagship affront to humanity "The Voice UK", many viewers in the UK have found themselves faced with a difficult choice as to which of the two piles of crap they should not watch.
"This is typical cynical scheduling by the two main channels," viewer Alan McArthur of Salisbury commented in a break from not listening to Susan Boyle. "Now I don't know which of the two loads of bollocks I should say I couldn't care less about and didn't see when I get back to work on a Monday morning."
He added, "I only have so much superciliousness to spare. I sometimes wonder why I don't bother paying for a TV licence at all."
