As fuel prices continue to soar, Tesco are to extend their Value range to the fuel pump. Head of Value Brand Promotions, Barry Pullover explained, "Obviously, we've been diluting our petrol with all sorts for some time, however, we're keen to see just how far we can dilute our fuel and it still work. We think the memory of one hydrocarbon molecule in the UK is a realistic goal".
The new fuel will retail at around £1.35 per litre, the same price as a bottle of Derbyshire springwater.
