A friend of mine has had a massive oops moment with their offshore oil well in the Gulf of Mexico and would like to talk to a friendly doesn't-charge-a-huge-amount-in-fees environmental consultant.
I know it's a bit cheeky using this place like it's Facebook, but he's in a jam and I'd like to help.

Has your friend tried cider-vinegar?
It works wonders with stubborn carpet stains.
Just put some on a damp cloth and rub gently over the Gulf and when it has dried, simply hoover up the bits.
This should do the trick but tell your friend to avoid walking on the Gulf while it is still wet.
