A friend of mine has had a massive oops moment with their house oil tank and would like to talk to a friendly doesn't-charge-a-huge-amount-in-fees environmental consultant.

I know it's a bit cheeky using this place like it's Facebook, but he's in a jam and I'd like to help.

As you have to dig out about a meter per litre and have the contaminated soil taken to Birmingham, the advise I heard from an oil man was "Keep schtum". Not much help I am afraid.

I think it's probably best just to burn it off. A couple of old tyres should get it going.
