Rafa Benitez has been sacked as manager of Chelsea before he was appointed. A spokesman for Chelsea Football Club confirmed earlier today that this action was taken to save time and money. It will also help avoid the inevitable frenzy of media speculation that would have followed a run of poor results. Having sacked the next manager we are now looking to appoint the next next manager who can deliver the sort of results expected at Chelsea.
