ITV have announced their spring flagship programme very much in the tradition of reality shows. It is called, "You - Uncut" and is only available via a special reflective encoder to be fitted by ITV's engineers. These encoders effectively are able to 'reflect' the reality going on in the viewer's homes via the medium of television.
Initial focus groups have been delighted with the concept and have 100% committed to watch it the prime time slot of 1930 - 2200. ITV has said that initial feedback from these groups have said that characters are engaging, good looking and fascinating. They also said that each of the focus group members could learn something about themselves by watching the programme.
Deirdre Knowles, 38, watched the programme for 2 hours and was delighted with the programme, "I loved the character of Deirdre, she was so lovely but infuriating at the same time. I kept screaming at her - get off the couch girl, you have so much in you - but when she did she only every came back with another glass off Asti or a bag of Doritos. I felt like I learnt something from her."
Self assembly Reflective Encoders are available now for £19.99 with optional subtitle kit for those in the North of England.
