Following the announcement that Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has been sacked, the owner of the club, Roman Abramovich, has told a press conference : "Under-achievement is not what I'm paying out millions of pounds for .. The Champions League is, and always has been my goal, and rest assured, whoever I appoint as the new manager of Chelsea had better deliver or I'll sack him too; in fact I'm going to get really radical and sack him right now, and the one after him and .. sob, sob ..."
At this point the press conference was brought to an abrupt end as several of Mr. Abramovich's aides bundled him into his pram and rushed him out of the room.
