Am I getting too old? I kind of miss old Tel on the radio in the mornings. I used to laugh along whilst crawling drearily up the motorway to work, just as my father had done over 20 years before.
Sometimes they were dangerously close to the bone with Janet and John. And the listeners letters could be hilarious especialy with humerous psuedonyms... Hang on a minute: People writing funnies for free just for the joy of having them broadcast...
OK 'fess up. Which one of you has written to Terry and under what name?
(Capt. Drew Peacock was one of my favourites)

I think I did once but it was not used (as far as I know). I used the name Norbert Yerbut. I mentioned to an acquaintance from Sheffield that I fancied using the name Bob Frapples. Bugger me, the next week there was a Bob Frapples from Sheffield.

Des Custard, Hugh Bounder, Uma Head, Angela Merkel and others. I got a bit pissed off when he used several of my subs for Wogan's Twelve without so much as a by your leave, came here instead and never looked back.

I never subbed, but he made my daily trek across the hills less painful, until that young tosser from Warrington came along.

I submitted numerous tomes to the Togmeister using this name. I also put in quite a few emails as Pauly's mum - Bunty Walters (Mrs). I do enjoy Chris Evan's show now but it's an almost impossible job to replace what Terry did.
