Legendary Hollywood stallion, Dobbin Jr, the star of epic ‘War Horse’ was celebrating last night after winning an Oscar at last night’s glittering Academy Award ceremony in tinsel town.
Although speechless as the steed collected his golden statuette, he later chatted happily to the front line of reporters as he arrived at a celebration party with his partner, Winnie. ‘I think it is rather apt to have been receiving an award for Best Supporting Actor,’ he joked to waiting hacks, ‘after all, I carried most of the cast throughout the movie.’
Basking the glory of his victory, Dobbin reflected on past misdemeanours. ‘Looking back, I guess I ate a large amount of wild oats as a colt, but now I want to concentrate on my career before they put me out to grass. It would be good to undertake a speech role in my next movie. For this reason, I’ve already turned down the sequel to The Artist.’
