Anybody else been to his exhibition at the Royal Academy? Went yesterday and was completely blown away. Poptastic! Tantamount even!!

Saw a programme this evening on BBC2 with that Marr chappy interviewing the great man - the exhibition looks completely amazing, must make the time to see the real thing - those composite canvasses look truly awesome.
The prog also did some background on the Yorkshire Wold locations he used, and was extremely well put together - well worth a look in itself : especially loved the idea that he had created a scale model of the Royal Academy in his studio, an exhibit in its own right !
I'm sure I saw that program a while back. Presumably repeated to coincide with the exhibition. I watched it again anyway just for the joy of seeing Andrew Marr looking very uncomfortable. He was probably wondering why he got the gig as it's not his usual bag is it?
I watched the program on Lucian Freud last week too so now I can talk bollock about two modern day greats.
Really looking forward to the Rolf Harris retrospective.
There was an 'Imagine' documentary about this some time ago. Alan Botney did it. Unfortunately I think the exhibition's sold out, apart from some tickets at the door. Must get the kids to watch this, as they can't understand why we went!
