From 2014 onwards, the RBS 6 Nations Rugby competition will be downsized to the 1 Nation.
Andy Robinson, the Scotland rugby coach, was delighted with the news : "As the only competing team in the new tournament, I feel sure that Scotland will at last be able to give the long suffering fans something to shout about. I really fancy our chances of finally realising our potential and scoring a few tries for a change, and winning the competition is definitely a strong possibility."
