I really wonder if people were more interested in hearing Adele read out a list of names of people we've never heard of rather than hearing Blur play live.
Personally I didn't watch it, and don't care for either.

Give me Adele any day of the week. No contest.
Didn't watch it either, but Blur were a great band. Several 'classic' albums, and a style that was constantly evolving.
Damon Albarn is a huge talent. I really love the last Gorillaz album, it's a remarkably cohesive work considering how diverse the artists are that contributed to it.
Adele is just another ballad foghorn, as far as I can tell.
Ah but the thing the media completely missed was the reason the show was running late was Damon Albarn banging on for ten minutes listing people we'd never heard of when they got their lifetime achievement award !
A not altogether unattractive foghorn though
Now that's a sentence I wouldn't have contemplated writing several years ago. How one's mind is broadened these days
Beauty being in the eye of the beholder. Or behearer; I love her voice. But I know *&** all about music
I don't find her attractive whatsoever, and have you heard her talk ?
And what is it with her and pavements?
She really is incredibly funny too.
I know I'm extremely old and don't quite have my finger on the pulse, but why did they give a singing award to a computer???
Be thankful for the pulse !
