Good but I would change "custardy" into just plain "custard". Joke still works but it's no longer a pun or relying on a fictional word :)

Beauty! Two and a half stars each.
Good point about the imaginary word, Textbook, but I feel the gag relies on the pun, and would suggest keeping the word custardy. Custard, alone, doesn't work for me.

Very good, custardy is a great word - underused in my opinion.
Did one of the Clowns have a couple of Birds on the side?

Excellent.
And I would suggest Textbook has missed the point.
The battle will be incredibly custardy.

Love it.
Could I suggest that maybe the husband might object to his divorcing wife wanting "a piece of the pie"...?, possibly also being pissed off that she's always wearing his shoes, even though they're way too big for her?
Sorry, new to the forum - is it rude to make suggestions like this?

Jugglia, that's how it works. Wiki-comedy. If you can dream up a short article to develop the theme, go for it.

Jugglia, welcome aboard. Virtual comedy is virtually funny. Some like to do their own thing, and some like a bit of teamwork. Mix a couple of ideas together, they don't have to be news items, or could be completely off the wall. Clegg, Clarkson, the Pope, BMW drivers, Star Wars, Isle of Wight are all regular themes, but almost anything is fair game.
PS, "custardy" is far better. Good ticker material.

Custardy for me.
Well, not actually for me, but, oh you know what I meant.

many manys ago we had the 'Custard List'- women ( and men - we were equal opportunities letching, even then ) whom warranted a liberal coating with Crème Anglaise : alas, I forget as to what purpose.
The only one I can recall is a fellow who persistently championed the bottom half of Steffi Graf < name and address with-held pending the cheque arriving >
Simpler, happier times

Goes to prove, if you throw enough mash potato at the wall, you'll be banned from every branch of Little Chef.
