I hate to tell you this nickb old chap, but I'm thinking of trading in the Mitsi for something smaller, but with almost as big a boot and considerably, considerably poorer fuel economy.
Worse, than all that though, I'm thinking of an Audi. Possibly one of those sensible estate ones. With the 4.2lt engines.
I know I'm a year late in this response to John Fffff-Stutter, but before we lived here, it was part of a private estate, of around 100 acres, owned by one of the legendary Dundee Jute Baron families and they used horses.
I can see your point about them managing the hill, I really do, and I would absolutely, truly, love to adopt the same transport, but there's too few bridle paths, too many busy roads, and 8 miles between me and the boy's school.
Still, it'd help keep the grass down.
