A woman with the often ridiculed name Theresa Green has decided to change her name by deed poll. She states the main reason being a 'huge amount of fucking comedians in this country'
Her parents, Mr and Mrs Green, are both devoted Catholics and named their only daughter Theresa after Mother Theresa, but 32 years after that decision, Miss Green is the one regretting it. She has had to put up with people laughing when introduced to her, appointments being cancelled by switched on receptionists who 'cotton on' to the possible practical joke, and 'comedians' pointing out ' not in the winter'.
'I can't stand it any more so I have chosen to change my surname to reflect my 2 biggest passions' she told us. 'I love engineering and also sexually liberal canines, so from now I will be known as Theresa Piston-BiDogs
