Employers have been told to expect a drop in productivity tomorrow morning, due to a dramatic increase in the number of employees planning to sleep in, by claiming to be busy exercising their democratic rights.
One such worker, who wished to remain anonymous, said: "I've told my boss that I'll be a little late tomorrow, as I'm going to stop by the polling station on my way into the office, in order to cast my vote. If the truth be told, I really can't be arsed, and will instead be setting my alarm for an hour later than usual."
"Not so much an example of democracy in action - more a case of, democracy inaction": he continued.
