In what's believed to be the first incident of its kind, it's been announced that an unborn baby has been served with an ASBO. The London Borough of Greenwich, following an unprecedented course of action, today applied to Magistrates to sanction the extraordinary move.
The unborn child, to be named Wayne if it's a boy and Shazza if it's a girl, was served the order today in absentia, at an antenatal clinic in Woolwich. The infant believed to be the offspring of a union between two habitual thugs will be, according to Detective Inspector John Lilley of The Met "A right piece of work".
D.I. Lilley told reporters. "Mark my words this kid is gonna be a wrong'un. We reckon the trouble will probably start at nursery, where it will inevitably bash up all the other little kiddies there, this behaviour will continue through junior and senior schools, when of course it is sure to be expelled from both.
After a brief spell in a young offenders institution it will become a professional criminal and will then hang around the shops in the precinct and terrorise the local community, most probably forming a gang of thugs who regularly prey on innocent pensioners"
Social worker Persephone Lloyd-Williams commented. "We know that this is an unusual step but it's hoped that the move will at least do something to nip the problem in the bud"
Neither of the child's future parents was available for comment last night as they were out hanging around the shops terrorising people and preying on innocent pensioners.
