In light of the plethora of posts relating to the unofficial dogging sign in Gloucestershire, I thought I'd just clarify a few points, both for the sake of journalistic accuracy, and to obviously save some of you from a wasted journey.
The site in question, Barrow Wake, is nowhere near Stroud, and despite being on the main road to the town, is indeed still a fair lick (excuse the pun)from Cirencester too. Barrow Wake is in fact pretty much equidistant between Cheltenham and Gloucester - maybe marginally closer to Cheltenham actually - towards the top of Birdlip hill, just outside the villiage of the same name. Just a little way up the hill from The Air Balloon pub and eponymous roundabout to be precise...
