Well-deserved as it provided the most entertaining moment of the game.

Pace, good positional sense and an ability to hold up play ... what a contrast to Andy Carroll.

Cats are great for chasing after balls, although it gets a bit painful after a while.

Just had to look up who Peter Bonetti was John, not a bad keeper by the sounds of it.

Peter Bonetti was nicknamed ‘the cat’ either 1. because of his graceful agility or 2. because he was asleep most of the time. Depends on who you ask. He was, however, a very good goalkeeper - not in the league of Gordon Banks, but one of the best we had at the time, and he’d undoubtedly get a premier league or even national place if he was reincarnated today.
