From March 1st there will be one preferred way and an alternative way which is acceptable under Islamic Law. All remaining ways to skin a cat are banned, as is the popular saying. Richard Littlejohn is quoted as saying "Honestly, you couldn't make it up."
A EC working party has been set up to look into the creation of an alternative saying where there could potentially be multiple ways of carrying out the same task. They are expected to report back in the Autumn.
