In a shock move Scotland's first minister,Alex Salmond, has appointed disgraced TV chef Antony 'Borrow' Thompson as the public face of the Scottish independence campaign.
Defending the decision,Salmond said 'I realise that Antony isn't Scottish but we are trying to appeal to a wide range of voters.
The fact that he is an overweight,bearded ginger will appeal to the traditionalists and because he wants all the good things in life but doesn't want to pay for them he fits in perfectly with our economic policies.'
When accused of creating a recipe for disaster Salmond replied.
'To be fair all his recipes are a disaster so we feel he is the ideal candidate for the job.'
