It is no secret that much of Cameron's pondering power comes from his exquisitely executed hand-on-chin pose, seen time and time again when questioned are raised. But little known to most of the country is that his chin is not all it appears.
A source close to the prime minister has revealed this week, amidst the silicone implant scandal, that the prime minister had an implant under his lower jaw in order to give more purchase for his 'hand of thought'. "During his Gentleman's etiquette classes, his instructor was much taken aback with David's skill in pondering. His hand movement, positioning and composure were second to none - and he could use left or right hands - so if the need arose whilst holding an important document, he wouldn't have to swap hands before pondering. He was set for success."
"But David's chin was not the magnificent beast worthy of such skill of hand - rather too rounded, he could easily look ridiculous at the wrong angle. The decision was made to have a silicone implant inserted and he has never looked back."
Following this week's revelation that faulty breast implants may rupture inside the body, fears over Cameron's chin implant have increased. "What a disaster it would be if David's implant ruptured at a time of utmost importance. He is worried about the interim, before the operation, but he knows he has to keep his chin up."
