I don't know, apart from Psychoville, but this was one of my posts from 2008.
Clown Prosecution Service Seeks Retrial of Terror Suspects
The Clown Prosecution Service announced today that it will seek the retrial of an alleged Terrorist cell accused of preparing a liquid water bomb attack. It alleged that the accused were planning to drive to a crowded public venue in a Mini, where the doors would fall off the car and fifteen heavily disguised men wearing wigs and makeup would jump out to hurl water filled balloons at passers by. It is also alleged that they were planning to threaten members of the public with a bucket apparently full of water, which was later found to contain only glitter.
“I don’t know about you, but clowns fill me with terror” said an intelligence service source.
The prosecution claimed that the defendants had made posters to advertise the event, which they were planning to post on lampposts and shop windows. The accused denied the charges but have admitted to being part of a troupe of mime artists who only intended to convey the impression of throwing water over people.
The jury in the original trial were split, with some expressing the opinion that being mime artists was actually a worse offence than being Terrorists.
