As news of problem breast implants widens, a batch of bathroom sealant purchased at a B&Q in Slough has been found to consist of breast grade silicone.
Geoff Davis, a Berkshire based plumber bought five tubes of the sealant in November and immediately noticed problems. "I've been fitting bathrooms for fifteen years and I’ve never seen anything like it. Normally it goes down nice and smooth, but this lot would form up in pairs of big blobs."
"I thought I was buying industrial grade, but it's tits in a tube - it's bloody useless", he added.
His customer, Nancy Ellis, is furious. "I know it's not Geoff's fault but the fact is I've now got false knockers all over my new bathroom - it's a disgrace".
B&Q are looking very closely at the issue, a spokesman said .
