Well it wouldn't be the good AIDS. I had that once, took me ages to shake it.

There's a bearded guy with a famous dad who dies every Easter. My money's on him, 6th April.

How about Dame Edna, possums?

Anyone got Val Doonican yet? I assume he's still alive.

If anyone chose Mugabe I think they are about to win.

Now is Mugabe's imminent departure from this mortal coil a good or bad thing?
Ok, he's a delusional, vicious, mental dictator, but at least you know where you are with him.
What if his replacement is even more barking?Posted 1 year ago # -
after his long crusade against gays it would be delightfully ironic if he snuffs it with a doctors hand wrapped round his prostate

Has there ever been a Dictators version of Top Trumps

Jeni - hadn't realised Mugabe was in This Mortal Coil - did he do Song to the Siren? Murderous but ethereal..

Can I bagsee Robin Gibb?
Gibb said he had been making a "spectacular" recovery from cancer but he was later readmitted to hospital for intestinal surgery....the singer said a growth in his colon had "almost gone" and he was feeling "fantastic".
Only a matter of time then.Posted 1 year ago # -
My brain is a definite.
If it's not caused by revising Tax law, it'll be the alcoholism that said revision has induced.Posted 1 year ago # -
After Robert Mugabe goes, Robert Mugabe's Doctor is next.

The North Korean rocket designers?

Al Megrahi.
Race between him and Mugabe.

I'm afraid it looks like BJ called the Robin Gibb situation

Interesting
I swear that I hadn't seen this when I bagseed Robin Gibb.
Odd that he's above a 105 year old.
Take a look at some of the commentators. Bloody odd lot. Quite fun thoughEDIT: ooops! (Just seen your comment Button.) Been there, seen that.

and my frighteningly accurate prediction went completely unoticed. Saturday night fever

"ah, ah, ah, stayin' alive..." seems inappropriate at this time. So I won't use it ...
That cancer stuff is a bastard isn't it?

There are people on b-j's link who I thought were already dead.

Yeh, Jeni, amusing that Clive Dunn has been on the list for 16 years yet still only scrapes in at no. 50.
Ronnie Biggs has been on the list for 12 years. Didn't he use his get out of jail free card a while back then make a miraculous recovery?Posted 1 year ago # -
I must have too much time on my hands; I was thinking the other day we don't seem to have had very many famous people die this year. Has it been the mild weather or is there some new celebrity treatment we don't know about.
I can only think of Whitney Houston and Frank Carson (what a concert that would be !) so far this year.

Surely Anders Brievik has to be on the list?
Oh....and that bloke who writes the calendars every year....surely his days are numbered.Posted 1 year ago # -
Damn it Robin Gibb!!
Change your name to Lazarus and be done ffs!
Posted 1 year ago # -
Tscht! My money is still on the Gibb boy.
Posted 1 year ago # -
And there you have it - Mr Gibb has passed away.
I'd say "congratulations" to those who placed their money on his departure from the mortal realm, but it is kind of sad.

Beau-jolly is this weeks winner. Can who ever has the trophy please make sure it's handed over to B-j before the end of the day.
Posted 1 year ago # -
Surely you share the cash due to your punt on Al Megrahi?
Posted 1 year ago # -
Ooh, good call!
B-j can have the trophy and I'll take the cash...Posted 1 year ago # -
OK, I've got the Biscuit petty cash here... a paper clip, some fluff and a 5p coin. Will that do Jeni?
