Admonished by DVO. Oh dear, it must have been bad.

Looks like we should have put some money on the January WotM award being next to die.

I can confidently predict the NB server.

Who had Hugo Chavez?
Time to collect your winnings.

Henry Kissinger. Surely the devil can't wait much longer for the old crocodile...
Posted 2 months ago # -
Hugo Chavez. Told you so.

@Oxbridge: Is Kissinger really still alive? I thought he looked old in 1972 when he was jetting around the world crusading for peace in our time
Posted 2 months ago # -
That may have been Chamberlain. I think he really is dead.

Kissinger is still with us. He got a mention on the radio news here in DC yesterday, which is why I thought of him.
Buzz Aldrin, while I think of it.

I had Hugo on a double with Fidel, not long now....?

What I actually said a month ago was
'Hugo Chavez was described this morning as "joking and laughing" by a Venezuelan minister - which means he's dying in my book...'

I think Cuba will be keeping an eye on what happens post Chavez. If it looks good they may admit that Castro died a while ago.

iYou should do the lottery.Did I mention I was in DC, that's where the Barrack Obama lives. In America. I'm practically his neighbour at the moment.

Any one fancy a party? I'll bring all my Kenny Ball music. Round at Oxy's, tonight? He's in DC you know.
Posted 2 months ago # -
No I'm not, I'm back now. Barack says hi. Who's nicking my identity? I'll sue his ass.
Posted 2 months ago # -
oh my, there's an oxy with a full stop on the end. Bugger, I think I might have pissed in the wrong wardrobe, sorry.

How do I go about putting some money on President Mugabe, please?
Posted 2 months ago # -
That's very generous, but I suspect he doesn't need it. International support & aid money - he'll probably get by in his later years. And don't worry about his family & friends, I think they'll manage just about.
Oh, I see, you mean a wager. Don't hold your breath, he may have private health insurance.

"... he may have private health insurance."
So had quite a lot of the others on the stiff list.

Scroat: Fish in barrels/hunting dairy cows. Just refreshed the BBC news page and he's not gone yet, or has he?

The Governor of the Bank of Cyprus .

Al, that was funny. Has anyone got N. Mandela yet?
Actually, I would prefer to see dead the people who invariably answer "Who living or dead would you most like to have dinner with?" with Nelson Mandela, The Dalai Lama or Buddha. It's a sign for "I'm so much cooler than you."

Al OPecia
Last I heard he was on the mend. So good news.
How about one of the Stones 'live' on stage at Glasto?

No wonder people don't bet on the Royals. I'd say a lot of people got badly burned on the Queen Mum throughout the 80s and 90s.
