MARKS and Spencers have had their seasonal television advertisements banned after complaints were received by OFCOM.
It was ruled today that the adverts place unessential pressure on low-income families and makes them feel bad too.
Marks and Spencers Spokesperson, Mark Spencer, today slammed the ruling. He said: "What has happened to the world? We have recruited current and happening youngsters for our advertisement campaign this Christmas to appeal to a younger demographic and now this? This is not just any scandal, this is an M&S scandal."
Joan Tully, a housewife from Conset County Durham said: "Thank fuck those adverts have gone. Last year was pathetic with that fat fucker Peter Kay dancing about like a ham. I shop in Lidl and Iceland and their food is well better anyway. My 9 kids love their food."
