Visitors to the Saatchi Gallery this morning were surprised to discover Emin's bed, formerly strewn with dirty pantyhose, condoms, fag packets and empty vodka bottles, transformed into a neat and tidy divan with ironed valence, clean sheets and a pretty candlewick bedspread.
The Gallery's cleaning company said, "We thought it was about time. Frankly we'd had enough of cleaning around it."
The Royal Acadamy's Professor of Drawing was unavailable for comment today as she prepared to guest edit Radio 4's Today programme, (honestly who needs a satire site just cut and paste the real news.)
