I remember seeing him at Glasto one year, back in the day. We must be about the same age and it says something that he has managed a PHD and to become a major media star since and I ....haven't.

Oh come on! Brian Cox is great! Not only does he explain highly complex physics concepts in a simple way, but he also brings a second accent to BBC documentary making. His northern lilt alone disproves the outdated theory that all intelligent life orbits London.

Cox, you rock. A million, million, million, million times.

I'd never even heard of Brian Cox until there was a story on here about him winning the 'face you'd most like to slap' award.

Still haven't actually seen him on TV, or heard him talk or anything. He's some sort of biologist or something right?
