A student radical has created thousands of converts to socialism, with his judicious use of the CAPS LOCK key, personal abuse and Johan Hari style Heresay Fundamentalism.
"Jeremy Clarkson should die. And if you don't agree you're a Daily Mail reading client CHANGE DENYING IDIOTIC SHIT," wrote Mel O'Gnoma, in response to a debate about a controversy over public sector strikes. He then went on to illustrate his point with personal anecdotes and unverifiable facts.
Though many so called 'experts' have long poo-pooed these tactics, arguing that they could backfire, the opposite happened, and Mel O'Gnoma found himself making mass conversions.
"I take it all back now," said one man, who previously harboured a grudge against council jobsworths, corrupt councillors and bent policemen, "after being verbally abused by an internet hardman, I've seen the error of my ways. I am now a committed socialist and I have re-evaluated all my life experiences, and see them through the prism of a younger, more idealistic, student."
Personal abuse, backed by a sustained period of typing with the CAPS LOCK, really does get through to people, a psychologist confirmed. "On some level, people love to be insulted by an anonymous typist. It's a great way to win someone over," said the psychologist. "Don't listen to anyone who says otherwise, because THEY ARE RIGHT WING TWATS!!!"
