BNP cancel Clarkson's membership for 'being too right wing'

I saw the clip this morning with what he actually said. He said the strikes were a good thing, albeit only because there was less traffic, but then said that as it was the BBC they needed balance. That was when he made the comment about them being shot.
But nobody is interested in the context, why would you let that get in the way of complaining?

offlineMemberClarkson is a harmless buffoon. Many things are put on TV that many people will find offensive; he’s just another. He gets paid to do this stuff, because it generates media coverage for lack-lustre programmes like the One Show. Also, the BBC agreed to the joke in advance, so they’re just as culpable of the offence. The whole thing is another storm in a media tea-cup. I suspect that there a few BBC executives quietly congratulating themselves this morning on a job well-done.

Godly - don't want you to think that comment was having a go at you, it just irritates me when the media only report part of what somebody says. The convenient part. Anyway, I'm distracting from Immunis' sub, so I'll bugger off now.

offlineMemberOh no I am agreeing with you VCG people are too eager to complain about thing they haven’t seen. Jeremy Clarkson just made a flippant comment it’s hardly something to lose a career over. Whereas illegal wars, ruining the economy and stealing millions of pounds in expenses is. All done by MPs funded by the same unions winging about Clarkson.
