offlineMemberThanks, @Immunis. Was quietly hoping someone would sculpt it into something stellar, while I sit in the garden with a G&G&T. Is there a standard way for posting half-formed / half-baked ideas ... e.g. Wanted to do something 'quasi-historical' about Samuel Pepys getting done for dome-hacking in the whispering gallery at St Pauls... but too new to Newsbiscuit to know. Feel free, anyone, to run with this, if it has merit...

I have only been at this a few weeks but have already learnt that if it isn't an instant headline then write it down somewhere and get back to it with a couple of additional funny phases as they appear. When you have 4 to 6 of those then you try to tie together the story.Also you will need to accept that an 80% miss rate is likely unless you are in the top dozen writers on the site. I look at some FPs that get posted and doubt I will ever be that good.
