In response to criticism of over-complicated tariffs, British Gas has announced its radical new '100%' tariff. No longer will customers need to read a meter or worry about leaving lights burning or heating on. They simply hand their wage packets over to the energy supplier each week.
Comparison website U-Switch-Everything-Off has hailed the new tariff a winner with consumers. Now customers will know exactly where they stand, although not necessarily where they sit, once they've sold the furniture to buy food.
