The government's Chief Medical Officer, Professor Sir Liam Donaldson, has today warned Peter Mandelson that, if he doesn't reduce his rate of spin immediately, then he runs the very real risk of suffering, " permanent damage".
Sir Liam explained that Lord Mandelson's Brown gaffe fuelled rate of rotation is such that the Peer's inherent protective coating of smarm, has already been completely thrown off. "One more slip by Gordon Brown, and there's a very real danger that Lord Mandelson will permanently sound like Pinky and Perky" : said Sir Liam.
