"But I did eventually realise I was expected to 'take something of a lead'. When they stripped me naked, smeared my butocks with lemon curd and cable-tied my wrists to the park gates I thought it was just the lads letting off steam. So, as you may well imagine, the close proximity of the wasp nest came as something of a shock just after sunrise the next morning. Other than that, and perhaps just one or two other minor incidents, I think that I maintained good team discipline throughout the tour.
