After a long, hard session in court, adult entertainer Krystal Binks breathed a lusty pant of relief as the highest court in Europe found in her favour in the case of Porn vs Pop.
Even before Gnarls Barkley became the first Number One artist on downloads alone, the adult industry had been thinking of ways of penetrating the pop market. But following Ms Binks peformance in court today it was decreed that "If a download of a single may count towards that country's singles chart, so should any form of dowmloaded media which carries an underlying rhythmic and aesthetic quality".
Such a shake-up could happen as early as next week and will probably see Rhianna remain on top of Kelly Clarkson, while Coldplay might flop altogether.
Ms Binks loooks likely to peak with her debut entry; a touching piece entitled "Cute 18yo dirty naked gymnastics with some dubstep in the background" which has notched up 489,897 downloads since it was first uploaded.
When asked for his thoughts, media mogul Simon Cowell said "Come on mate, this won't do me any harm at all..... watch what my X-Factor winner gets on the twelfth day of Christmas!"
