Due to the unprecendented success of the Prime Ministerial debates in the war to win hearts and minds as well as ratings, all the political parties have agreed that a extra fourth debate will be broadcast by Channel 4 and E4.
Whilst other debates have targetted Casualty Woman and Motorway man, the fourth debate will specifically target "Glee Girls and Boys".
A Channel 4 spokesman said "because the aim of this debate is to talk to the younger floating voters in a format that they can relate to.. that's why we have chosen the 'Glee' format."
The proposed outline for the Alexa Chung hosted debate will be as follows:-
Opening Songs by the Candidates
Gordon Brown - I can see clearly now
David Cameron - True Blue
Nick Clegg - Mellow Yellow
First Questions and debate set up - what's this weeks dilema they have the face up to
Second Song - 1st Duet
Gordon Brown and Nick Clegg - I knew you were waiting
Second Question - Mild comedic interlude
Third Song - 2nd Duet
David Cameron and Nick Clegg - What can I do to make you love me
Third Question - The argument and resolution
Fourth Song - Ensemble - "Don't stop believin'"
