Can't get a grip on this Carbon Balance business, I'm all for saving the planet as that's kind of a good thing long term, but my actions may be jepordizing the entire process.
A friend of mine frequently travels to Brazil and on his return he plants a tree to offset his carbon footprint. I don't fly anywhere, don't drive, can't have the heating on as it kicks off my asthma, buy all I need on the local High Street so I'm fucked.
I am currently chopping down 3 trees a month just to maintain the equalibrium.
I've tried not recycling but it doesn't seem to make an impression.
