Round the World Traveler, Dr. Dave Wang-McNair PhD. DD. DFA. has been presented with a $1,000,000 bill by his US service telephone and Internet Service provider PR&T because he forgot to inform them six months in advance by triplicate telegram that he intended to take a "spur of the moment' trip around the world.
After crossing six continents in twenty-one days Dr. Wang-McNair, speaking from his bijou residence in Northern Cuba after his recent Water Boarding session said, "Yeah, I got an e-mail from PR&T about two seconds after landing in London but they sent a whole page and the text was too small to read so I ignored it 'cos I thought they were just telling me the bill was due, not that I had exceeded my data service allowance. It was only on returning to the US when the aircraft was diverted to Bangor Maine and I was arrested by the FBI that I realized the seriousness of the situation. Of course, I feel that the charge of $20 per byte may be a little excessive, however, as the kind lady at PR&T said, I should have read the small print; especially line 1,236 of the sub section (83) sub-clause 27 of paragraph 47 (a) 'THOSE DARING TO LEAVE GOD'S COUNTRY UNLESS UNDER MILITARY ORDERS'.I shall know better next time.......if I don't have Alzheimers by the time I get out....."
Dr. Wang-McNair will be on recess for the next 48 years.
