Vince Cable has come under pressure after it was revealed that, despite campaigning furiously to make people pay their taxes, he himself has avoided paying any tax since 1952.
"It's all very simple", backtracked the secretary of state for business, "I put a back dated application for my house in Richmond to be declared a overseas crown territory and therefore my office slash spare room is classified as a small wind-farm just off the Turks and Caicos Islands."
"It's all above board" the hypocritical Member explained, "or it will be soon, as soon as the good people of HMRC rubber stamp the thing, which they will do if they want to keep their jobs".
