Motorists in Wales can rest easy tonight as one of the principality's most notorious drivers was banned from driving for 12 months.

Over the past decade Araf's penchant for speed had been such that the Highways Agency had taken to installing signs and painting instructions on road surfaces specifically aimed at him. Warnings of 'Slow Araf' had become familiar to natives and visitors alike.

There's a sign near Wrexham saying "Golf" with "Golff" underneath just in case "Golf" was not understood. Its about 200 yards from the English border. I can't help thinking that any mono-lingual Welsh are unlikely to be members anyway.
