A Bacup man who started a computer business in his mother's garage is still there after thirty years.
'My mate and I got together every evening in mother's garage to start a pioneering computer business, and we haven't looked back,' says Bill Smith. 'Yep, we're still here every evening, come rain or shine.
'Of course, we've expanded a bit over the years into mum's garden shed.' he said.
Mr Smirh said he attributed his success to 'thinking different'. 'Never settle', is his advice to technology entrepreneurs who want to remain in their mother's garage.
Mrs Smith (87) said:
'I don't know what our William is up to in that garage, but I've told him I'll be wanting my Amstrad back in this house by next week at the latest.'
