Britain awoke this morning to the news that not only does America have a form of car racing almost as tedious as Formula 1, but that one of our own had been killed because he didn't aim his car correctly.
Formula 1 fan Rick O'Sullivan said "They look a bit like F1 cars, but it seems the circuit layouts are simpler to cater for American tastes. Seems there was a Brit competing, but he must have been the 3rd best British racing driver because the black one and the one with the silly name are still at McLaren".
A spokesman for Bernie Ecclestone said that he was consulting lawyers, because apparently no-one else is allowed to organise car races.
