Official: Businesses throughout the land are giving employees the morning off to collect their new iPhone 4S from stores on the much heralded day of launch. Anticipating long waits as busy sales assistants show customers where to insert their micro-SIMs and give much-needed advice on copying over apps and iTunes libraries, many managers have simply given employees the morning off to get their new phones sorted out.
As one office manager explained, "Bless. People who are this keen to have the latest production-enhancing gadgets are clearly among our top performing employees. They are the brightest and the best. This is the right thing to do. It's a wonderful world we live in, and this pocket miracle from Cupertino has made it even better. Alleluiah. I for one cannot wait to hear how much better the new phone is over the old one, even if it's only a bit better, and I am really looking forward to hearing the sound of people selecting their favourite ring tone from the many that are bound to be available on the new device. It's a red letter day and no mistake."
Well, there we must leave this report, for this journalist is putting his iPen away to take up his position in the queue!!!
