In a surprise announcement, the wizarding bank Gringotts has announced that the Galleon is being discontinued and in 2014 the wizarding community will switch to the euro. "I know it seems a bad time.", explained a diminutive Gringotts' spokesman, "But, believe me, we have our reasons."
