It was revealed yesterday that Nancy Shevell, just married to John Lennon's aging straight man, has been labelled an "Heiress and Socialite" by the media. It now seems these are merely tags to hide the fact that she has achieved "feck all" in her 51 years. This was compounded at the weekend when she married a struggling pensioner best known for carrying John Lennon's guitar in the 1960s.
Meanwhile cash was saved on the Wedding as Stella McCartney hired dozens of Interns to help out with the lavish bash. "Although unpaid" Stella commented "this provides valuable experience for these people's CVs". "I was on the verge of asking them to pay me to help out with the wedding".
