After a long and costly legal debate, the EU Court of Human Rights has ruled that Malcolm Simkins, 42 from Epping, can continue as a commercial pilot despite medical reports describing him as "maniacally suicidal"
"I feel vindicated" said Mr Simkins "the airline bosses can no longer restrain me from my chosen work. My intention is to carry on flying"
In a bizarre twist Mr Simkins was poached from BA and is now the sole pilot for Dignitas. "Its a great idea. Passengers are queuing around the block. On board they can smoke, get pissed, do anything they desire and Im there to get them to where they want to be." then with a far-away glint in his eyes he added "And there wont be an arduous return journey"
