Utd Manager Alex Ferguson is pleading not guilty to charges of match fixing, against mounting evidence that over the lengthy course of his career he has been deliberately picking teams of players he knows will win. In candid team talks, week after week he is alleged to have given players advice on how to score goals and turn the game even from seemingly impossible losing positions. (etc etc oh I'm a bit bored with this now..)

Now Fergie is fingered as a 'fixer'.
Manchester Utd manager Alex Ferguson is pleading not guilty to charges of match fixing, against mounting evidence that over the course of his career the Scotsman has been deliberately picking teams of players he knows have a better than average chance of winning. In candid team talks, week after week he is alleged to have given players advice on how to score goals and turn the game to their advantage even from seemingly impossible losing positions.
TV evidence will be shown where even yesteryear players such as Ryan Giggs somehow manage to slip the ball convincingly into the goal from angles thought to be impossible instead of sending it yards wide Torres-style as one would expect.
Utd star Nani was recently spotted gaining an unfair advantage for his team by taking up a playing position on the pitch instead of choosing to stay put on the bench, in what some are saying is clearly the result of pressure from the Scottish manager.
"When players do that, you have to ask questions," remarked Roberto Mancini. "My players, they know not to listen to this nonsense."

Can I just have a quick moan about Alex Ferguson berating the media and saying they have too much power in football.
He's the f***ing manager of f***ing Manchester United fer Christ's sake. A, they're not doing badly out of it all, and B, they have a certain amount of clout of their own.
While I'm here, can we have f***ing subtitles next time he's f***ing interviewed on TV?
And as for Wayne Rooney's pater, it's not like they need the f***ing money is it?

No - that's just how it is, following on from the old grey/silver one, which in turn followed the multi-coloured version.

Update: England coach Martin Johnson is pleading not guilty to charges of match fixing, against mounting evidence that over the course of his career the ape has been deliberately picking teams of players he knows have a better than average chance of losing. In candid team talks, week after week he is alleged to have given players advice on how to not score trys and turn the game to their advantage even from seemingly impossible losing positions.
TV evidence will be shown where even yesteryear players such as Jonny Wilkinson somehow manage to slip the ball convincingly between the posts from angles thought to be impossible instead of sending it yards wide Wilkinson-style as one would expect.
England star Banahan was recently spotted not gaining an unfair advantage for his team by taking up a playing position on the pitch instead of choosing to stay put on the bench, in what some are saying is clearly the result of pressure from the Scottish fans.
"When players do that, you have to ask questions," remarked Johnson. "My players, they know to listen to this nonsense."
Neither Ashton nor his dad, Cueto, were available for comment.
